Global Roots explore ancient musical traditions  with exotic melodies and rich vocals, integrated with the tribal pulse of global indigenous rhythms.
It is a formula that has taken the travelling world music formula to many festivals across the land, headlining some and adding a colourful and powerful voice to others.
Described commonly as colourful, dynamic  and an ancient futuristic fusion of flavours they bring forth the timeless power and spirit of traditional and devotional music in a profound journey from its root source into the soul.

GLOBAL NETWORK PRODUCTIONS

Global Network has directed and consulted for several National Global Music Festivals,  They also own an award winning record label, Global Grooves (now called Medicine Music.  The label produces world music, music for meditation and higher conscious awareness.  It  has  been nominated in the ARIA (Australian Record Industry Association) top five finalists category as well as winning the Best World Music album category in 2002,

Global Network is also the producer and presenter of the first ever annual Australian World Music Awards, originally conceived to acknowledge the pinnacle of achievement in world music in Australia. 

Over the last ten years, Ron Rage; has studied and researched the therapeutic power of music, specialising in Indian Music.  He and Vicki regularly give lectures, gives workshops on the power of music to heal and raise the consciousness of the individual.  Workshops on the Yoga of Sound model that they have developed are regularly presented at universities, hospitals, institutions and festivals. 
Their work has been featured on national network television, most recently, Yoga of Sound has featured on the hit TV series, Celebrity Overhaul, Channel 9. 

 Ron has also authored many  articles on sound and spirituality.  His first book entitled, 'Total Life Artistry - Be a Creator, not a Victim', has been acclaimed as a pathfinder to enriched living. His latest writings on the mystical path to enlightenment through sound yoga have  been complimented as a masterful study of a deeply complex subject. It  is recommended to  seekers of knowledge interested in understanding more about  the  therapeutic and transformational power of music and sound.  

The latest CD, Sacred Ragas, released in December 2004 for Global Grooves was co-produced with Vicki,  is based on the therapeutic power of traditional Indian Music. It is a spiritual journey from the heart of Australia to the kingdom of bliss.  

As artists with a deep conscience Ron and Vicki continue to produce and present events and concerts that explore "creating a culture of peace".Their recorded work, collaborations and musical events demonstrate a strong commitment to the peace process and they continue to support many NGO's and humanitarian movements
